INFORMATION
Reporting to the Group Operations Technical Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for auditing all sites within the Foyle Food Group to ensure compliance to quality procedures and policies, customer standards and relevant legislative requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with production and operations managers and will involve extensive travel. The successful candidate will also be required to audit all supplying companies in line with the supplier approval and external audit schedule.
Essential skills:
• Third level qualification or recognised equivalent
• Technical management experience
• Internal auditing qualification / experience
• Working knowledge of quality management systems within the red meat industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
• Hold a full driving licence
• Flexibility in working hours
• Ability to travel outside Northern Ireland with overnight stays required
Duties Include
Plan, organise and conduct internal and external audit functions, presenting findings to management to ensure effective corrective and preventative action. Review corrective actions ensuring sustainable root cause analysis techniques have been adopted and closing out once satisfactory actions have been implemented.
Day to day involvement with procedural enhancement activities, effective communication of recommendations on potential improvements to the systems and procedures being employed. Provide regular updates to senior Management team.
Manage work-load ensuring all deadlines and timeframes are met in line with schedules agreed.

INFORMATION
Foyle Gloucester is seeking a Halal Slaughter Operative to be based at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland.
It is a requirement that the slaughter is performed according to Sharia Law (Islamic Practices), Halal Standard and UK regulations. Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Working in an Abattoir environment in the involvement of the slaughter of cattle
• Cutting, trimming and preparation in the meat production process
• Maintaining Health & Safety, Hygiene and Food quality standards
• Working as a team to ensure the production runs quickly and efficiently
• Complying with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace
The rate paid for this position is £11.94 per hour, with a skills premium applied depending on task undertaken based on throughput daily (which could be £20 per day).
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.
Full on the job training will be given to the successful applicant.

INFORMATION
Foyle Gloucester is seeking a DAF Water Treatment Plant Operative to be based at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland. The successful applicant will receive full training for this role.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
• Manage and maintain the effective running of the DAF Water Treatment Plant operation in accordance with legislation, policy and standards
• Daily analysis of water
• Daily inspection, servicing and repairing of components of the DAF Water Treatment Plant including mechanical issues to ensure effective operations
• Upkeep of yards and ground perimeter
• Ensure that lorry wash area is kept clean and tidy
• Moving trailers and using weighbridge to ensure vehicle weights are adhered to
• Oversee drain cleaning
• When required assist with other maintenance issues
Essential Criteria:
• Willing to learn
• Be flexible and reliable in approach
• Be able to commit to the required hours of this role and potential overtime as and when the business requires
Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience in wastewater treatment
• Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Knowledge of DAF Water Treatment Plant Operations
• Previous experience of using Shunt Vehicle or willing to undergo training
• Previous experience of using Counterbalance or willing to undergo training

Foyle Omagh are looking for an Industrial cleaner to be based at their site on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. The successful candidate will undertake industrial cleaning operations. Working hours between 4.30pm > 12.30am during standard operations, Monday to Friday with opportunities to undertake additional hours at the weekend.
Basic starting rate is £11.94 per hour, increasing to £12.71 as of the 1st April 2025, regardless of age, increasing with additional skill bonus gained through personal development – opportunities for overtime. All new starts will be enrolled on our apprentice programme, giving everyone the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification and potentially a bonus upon completing the training programme.
No experience necessary, full training and protective equipment will be provided. Subsidised Canteen on site, Cycle to Work Scheme, Group Health & Wellbeing Programme and free Life Assurance for all staff after probation.

The programme will develop you to become fully equipped with the right skills needed for an exciting career in the Red Meat processing industry.
